Waste tire is thermally decomposed into tire oil, carbon black, wire bead, gases, water, and fibers.

Tire Oil: 40% - 45%
Carbon Black: 30% - 35%
Wire bead: 9% - 11%
Gases: 6% - 10%
Water: 4% - 6%
Fiber & Others: 3% - 6%

Tire oil consists of the mixture of gasoline, diesel, and boiler oil.
Flashpoint: 50 F closed cup, 127 F open cup
Sediment & water: 0.4%
Viscosity: 35 SSU @ 100 F
Heat content: 18,000 BTU/lb
API Gravity: 14.7
Sulfur content: 0.8 - 1.0 %

Carbon black material shows the following properties.
Carbon: 86 - 89%
Volatiles 0.20% at 450 F
Sulfur content 0.9 - 3.3%
Ash 9%-11%
Iodine number 62
pH 7.12

The residue gases show the folowing properties.
